The Beach Plum House is a single family Cape Cod vacation home on a one-and-a-half acre yard abutting the Cape Cod National Seashore, located in a quiet residential neighborhood just over one mile to the awesome Coast Guard Beach!

This Truro, Cape Cod rental is our largest home, with an expanded kitchen and other features, designed for the extended family or as a home providing the space and privacy for smaller families to vacation together, under one roof.

The Beach Plum House is a Cape Cod saltbox-styled home with 6 bedrooms, 4 ½ baths, and a deck. The open plan living area has a sizeable living room, dining room, and fully applianced kitchen equipped with dishwasher and laundry (washer & dryer) closet. The first floor has a master suite with a queen bed and “in-suite” bath with whirlpool tub and walk-in tiled shower. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. One bedroom serves as the second master with a queen bed and “in-suite” bath with tub/shower. There is an open loft den area with a game/card table. The other two bedrooms on this floor each have 2 twin beds and share a full bath with tub/shower. The finished walk-out basement has a second TV room/den, two large bedrooms, and a full bath with tub/shower. One bedroom has 2 twins, and the other larger bedroom has 4 twins. There is a 1-car garage for your beach gear/bike storage. This Truro vacation rental has expanded cable TV, telephone with free domestic phone calls, and wireless high-speed Internet. In addition, the “Beach Plum” is air-conditioned for the warmer in-season months. The front of the home greets you with an open porch, and there is a sizeable deck with access to the dining room and kitchen.

This ocean-side home is an easy bike ride to Coast Guard Beach; however, Truro has 5 additional beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean beaches are all contained within the Cape Cod National Seashore and are known for their towering sand dunes, surfing, fishing, “boogie boarding," swimming, and miles of unending sandy beach. The waters of Cape Cod Bay are nearby as well with Great Hollow Beach just over 1 mile west of the “Beach Plum.” Truro has 9 additional town beaches/landings on Cape Cod Bay for all types of saltwater recreation.

In the neighborhood, you will find golf at Highland Golf Course with the historic Highland Lighthouse. There are art classes and programs offered at Castle Hill Center for the Arts and live Summer Theater at the Payomet Performing Arts Center. On Rt. 6, just a mile from the house, you will find Sweet Escapes which makes THE BEST homemade ice cream on Cape Cod!

A large portion of Truro is owned by the Cape Cod National Seashore with miles of pristine beaches and densely wooded forests having trails for walking, biking, and kayaking in the tidal flats. In addition to all that Truro offers, you may visit Wellfleet, the southerly abutting town. You will find Wellfleet’s Audubon reserve, movie theaters, a vintage drive-in movie theater, and flea-market. Just to the north is Provincetown at the very end of Cape Cod. Famous for its eclectic downtown and wharf, the area features lots of local art galleries, unique shops, and great local restaurants. You can relax by the beach or fill your week with happenings that are all close by.
