This Cape Cod beach house rental is in a quiet corner of the complex, just a peek of the water is visible from the cottage, but you are just a “stone’s throw” from the beach and within one half mile to ALL Wellfleet Harbor’s amenities at the town pier - boat rentals, tennis courts, basketball courts, skate park, restaurants, theater, etc. It is just a short walk to the “Harbor Freeze” for those after-dinner ice cream cones!

The Beach Comber Cottage is a Cape Cod, cedar-shingled, ranch-style home with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, an open porch, and a deck. The main floor has a vaulted living room with ceiling fan and a slider to the private deck. The living room has a new 42" flat-screen TV with DVD player. The open plan leads to a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a dining area, also having a ceiling fan. The first floor also has 2 bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has 2 single beds, and the other has a queen bed. The full bath has a tub/shower. The walk-out lower level of the cottage has a 1-car garage under it for storage of your bikes and beach things. Through the basement walk-out, there is a finished family room, which can double as a third bedroom. This room has a full-size bed and dresser, a seating area with couch and chair, and TV/ DVD/VCR, as well as wireless high-speed Internet access. This room is separate from the main living quarters, providing additional privacy. There is a NEW full bath with shower off the bedroom. The basement also has a laundry room with washer and dryer for your use. The finished basement area exits through the garage and has no direct stairway access to the first floor. This home has expanded cable TV, telephone with free domestic phone calls, and wireless high-speed Internet.

Outside there is a private deck with a charcoal grill. The beachfront area has a covered porch area for those evening “sundowners” with front row sunset viewing on the water’s edge looking over Great Island.

Wellfleet town center is about 1 mile away with shops, 26 art galleries, and many wonderful restaurants. As a fishing village with some of the best clams, scallops, and oysters in the world, the fresh seafood fare is always a favorite. Chequessett Yacht and Golf Club with tennis facilities is 1 mile in the other direction. Local offerings in the summer include square dancing on town pier, open air Shakespeare, Music at Mayo Beach, original/live theater at WHAT (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater), and Saturday night Art Gallery artist openings (26 local galleries). You can relax by the beach or fill your week with happenings that are all close by.
